LFC employs a full time social worker to provide social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning support. .

Supporting Student Success

At Lake Forest Charter, our Social Work Office is dedicated to supporting student success through a wide range of support. From promoting regular attendance and providing counseling to managing crises and fostering a positive school culture, our Social Worker is here to help. With programs like bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and social skills development, we ensure that every student has the resources and guidance they need to thrive academically.

Support Services

Promote regular school attendance of students through ongoing attendance monitoring

Counsel with students and parents

Provide teacher/administrative consultations

Manage crisis situations

Apply and teach conflict resolution/mediation skills

Plan, conduct or assist with an in-service training program for school personnel

Serve as a liaison between school and community referral resources
SATeam Chairperson (Student Assistance Team).
Conduct individual, group, and classroom sessions.
