2nd through Final Round
How to Apply
Meeting our academic requirements demonstrates that your child is well-prepared to thrive in our environment. However, it is important to note that meeting these criteria does not guarantee a seat assignment at LFC. In the event that there are more eligible applicants than available seats, NOLA-PS will conduct a lottery to determine seat allocation.

Step 1
Apply via our Supplemental Admissions Form (S.A.F.)
Next step → Receive confirmation, practice questions, and assessment appointment within one (1) school day.
Step 2
Review practice questions and assess onsite at LFC
Next step → Eligibility assessment points are calculated by LFC Admissions Team
Kindergarten & 1st grade applicants must score a minimum of 11 combined points.
2nd through 8th grade applicants must score a minimum of 14 combined points.
Step 3 (Phase I)
Applicant's assessment score is communicated to parents/guardians.
Applicants that score the minimum combined points on the assessment progress to Phase II.
Applicants that do not score the minimum combined points on the assessment are invited to re-activate their S.A.F to reassess in the next round. *Seats in subsequent rounds are based on availability.
Step 4 (Phase II)
Phase II applicants submit required documents

Kindergarten and 1st grade applicants are required to submit a portfolio (3 pts) that contains a self-drawn portrait, handwriting sample, and creative artwork, along with an orientation & survey (6pts) .

2nd - 8th grade applicants are required to submit G.P.A. (0-10 pts) and attendance records (0-3 pts) from the 2024-2025 academic year, in addition to the orientation survey (6pts).
Next Step → Required document points are calculated for an overall score.

Kindergarten & 1st grade applicants must score 20 overall points

2nd through 8th grade applicants must must score 33 overall points
Step 5 (Final Status)
Applicant's overall matrix score is communicated to parents/guardians

Students that meet the overall minimum score satisfy our academic criteria. Applicants will be placed on the eligibility list with NOLA-PS. *Eligibility does not guarantee seat placement.

Students that do not meet the overall minimum score do not qualify for criteria enrollment. Applicants are invited to re-activate their S.A.F to be reconsidered in the next round. *Seats in subsequent rounds are based on availability.
Next step → A seat request form is sent to parents/guardians via Docusign by our Admissions Team. Parents/guardians must return the seat assignment by the designated due date. *Submission of the seat request form does not guarantee a seat assignment.
Step 6 (Seat Assignment)
NOLA-PS notifies parents/guardians of seat assignment or waiting list position.

Student's are automatically assigned a seat if availability is open. *If you satisfy our academic criteria. there are available seats but you have not been offered a seat assignment, please contact us via email.

If there are more applicants than available seats, NOLA-PS will conduct a lottery to determine seat allocation. Those applicants that do not receive a seat assignment are placed on a waiting list managed by NOLA-PS.
Next step → Parents/Guardians of students assigned to LFC will receive a 'Welcome to LFC' registration notification via email from the LFC Admissions Team.
